and jacking my knees, kiss cold
asp stabbing in the dark nipple
of the last queen of ancient Egypt.
Toledo steel hardened, ready to fight
spirited
fierce duels and die in several sets, hungry
spill as the moon pours
sapwood from these valleys.
Let this powerful love
huge continent that holds my poetry, I
shortage and increases
me with voluble displeasure,
torture me and kill me with only silence or
me back to life with the triviality of a gesture.
